Good question. Today, there are thousands of CrossFit gyms worldwide. So what makes ours different? Here's what CFLB brings to your training experience.
More CrossFit knowledge than you can throw a kettlebell at.
We were the 43rd CrossFit gym in the nation, and have been devout CrossFitters since its earliest days. Which means we have many years of training and practice under our belts. Our coaches also have multiple CrossFit certifications in a wide range of disciplines and regularly attend clinics, sharing what we learn with our athletes. When you work with a CFLB coach, you know you're getting the most knowledgeable, current and accurate training available to ensure your safety as well as improve your performance.
Plenty of space, and plenty of equipment.
CFLB athletes train in a very cool, repurposed warehouse with more than 8500 square-feet of elbow room to accommodate classes large and small. As we've grown, we've continued to add equipment to make sure there's enough to go around. Ropes, pull-up racks, muscle-up rings, GHD machines, barbells, rubber bumper plates, kettlebells, dumbbells, Concept rowers, speed ropes, massive tires, sandbags, and other equipment to torture -- we mean train -- you with: we've got it all, and then some.
We've also got a dedicated warm-up and personal training area that allows our athletes to work on building specific skills even while classes are going on. What's more, we keep our space, our equipment, and our bathroom clean. Oh, and we have a kids' room too for children ages five and up.
We take coaching personally.
Every athlete at CFLB is matched with a personal coach who makes it a point to keep each member accountable and on track toward their goals. Your personal coach will meet with you to identify and understand your individual goals, needs and challenges, then create a plan of action to address them.
As you get started at CFLB, your personal coach will check in with regularly to see how it's going and make any training adjustments. Miss some classes? Your coach will reach out to you to see what's up and get you back in the gym and on track. Have a question, concern or issue? Talk to your coach during his or her office hours to talk about it. Bottom line is: you'll have to do the work, but you won't have to do it alone.
Flexible classes and memberships.
We offer classes for all levels of athletes, from beginner to intermediate and advanced, starting as early as 5:30AM and as late as 8:30PM, Monday through Saturday. We've also got flexible membership plans to accommodate a range of goals and budgets.

CFLB is a family-oriented gym with one of the tightest, friendliest CrossFit communities you'll find anywhere. Our members come from all walks of life: they're police officers, nurses, lawyers, chefs, teachers, students, business professionals, yoga instructors, college softball coaches, engineers, members of the military, graphic designers, journalists, hair stylists, moms, dads, grandparents. But they all have something in common: they like to have a good time. And they like hanging out with each other.
We host and participate in a wide range of activities and events inside and beyond the gym -- hiking trips, running 5Ks and obstacle courses, stand-up paddle-boarding, potlucks and BBQ's, sharing recipes and tips in our nutrition Facebook group, meeting up to watch the big game at the local pub, scoring a skybox at the CrossFit Games.
